GIRLS DREAM BIG!

OBJECTIVE

Through participation in our Let’s Play! Community Program, Kids Play Int’l identifies and helps at-risk girls attend school and finish their education while also providing life skills to empower them to succeed in life.

FACTS

• One in four adults in the developing world cannot read or write.  Two-thirds are women.

• Women’s education is strongly correlated with a better life at an individual, social, and family level

• Educating girls helps reduce overall poverty and child mortality rate.

• Kids Play Int’l has set up a scholarship fund to ensuring girls alike are given equal opportunity and have the means to achieve a comprehensive education. Girls are identified through our Let’s Play! Community Program, City of Joy-Rwanda partnership, teachers at local schools and local community officials.
