Jordan Pisey Windle – Diving

Jordan Pisey WindleKPI is so honored to have Jordan as one of our Ambassadors, he has a story that everyone should read, it is one that inspires and proves what it is like if every child is just given an opportunity in life.

Jordan was born in a small village in the province of Prey Veng, Cambodia, his birth parents died when he was just a baby. He was placed in an orphanage in Phnom Penn when he was just a year old and lived in the orphanage until he was two. Jordan was adopted by Jerry Windle, who later went on to marry Andres Rodriguez. Jordan’s two dads have both made numerous sacrifices, leaving lucrative jobs and moving so Jordan could work with one of the best coaches out there.

Jordan has been diving since age 7, is hugely talented and constantly compared to his mentor and diving legend, Greg Louganis. In May 2016, Jordan was given an amazing opportunity to return to Cambodia for the first time in his life. His Homecoming was filmed as part of the Lifetime Docuseries: Gold Medal Families. The series explored the “extraordinary lengths, economic hardships and personal sacrifices” of Olympic hopefuls and their families leading up to Rio. Jordan is currently on the USA National Diving Team and narrowly missed making the 2014 Rio Olympics.

KPI is excited to follow Jordan on his Olympic journey as well as join him on his journey with KPI to give back to his native country of Cambodia. Thank you Jordan for your support!
